Frequently asked questions
The best time is during “golden hour” — roughly 2 hours after sunrise or 2 hours before sunset — when the light is soft and flattering. That’s when skin looks nicest and the island feels a little bit magical.
60-90 minutes of relaxed, guided moments.
Beaches, dunes, scenic viewpoints & city streets, basically everywhere :) Whether indoors or outdoors, at your home, a café, or a rented space, it’s important to choose a location that resonates with you.
For private sessions, you’ll receive 40–60 carefully edited images in a private online gallery. From there you can download them in high resolution, share with friends and family, and print them. Delivery time is usually about one week after the session.
The earlier you book, the better, to secure my availability. However, if you're looking for a last-minute session, don’t hesitate to check with me!
If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we can either reschedule or move the session indoors, depending on your preferences.
For the best results, I recommend wearing something that makes you feel comfortable and confident. Monochrome colors often work well, as they won’t distract from your face. Avoid busy patterns or logos, as they can take attention away from you. We’ll also go through outfit ideas together by email or WhatsApp before the session, so you don’t have to figure it all out alone.
While I don’t provide makeup or hairstyling, I can help to find professionals to work with.
Yes. I edit every delivered photo for colour, light and overall mood, so your images feel cohesive and cinematic but still natural. I do light skin retouching when needed (small distractions, temporary blemishes), but I don’t reshape bodies or remove every line — I want you to look like you, just on your best day. For creative projects, I can go beyond-standard edits for a more artistic look.
If you need to cancel, please let me know at least 24 hours in advance, and we can reschedule to another date (only one reschedule allowed).
You receive all the best photos from our time together (usually 40–60 images) — there are no per-photo fees or hidden extras.
No. Unedited files are like unfinished paintings — they don’t reflect my style or the quality you see on my website. I carefully select and edit all the best images from your session and deliver those finished photos to you.
Not at all — that’s almost everyone I photograph. You don’t need to know how to pose. I’ll guide you with simple directions and small movements, focusing on interaction, not stiff poses. We’ll walk, talk, play with the kids, and I’ll quietly capture the good in-between moments.
That’s completely normal. I don’t expect kids to sit still or smile on command. We keep the session playful and relaxed, follow their energy, and take breaks when needed. Some of the most meaningful photos come from those messy moments.
Your photos are private by default — I never share images without your permission.
In the booking form, there’s an optional checkbox where you can allow me to share a few selected photos in my portfolio or Instagram. It helps to promote and keep my small business alive. If you say yes, I’ll always show you the images first, and you also receive a small thank-you (for example, a short Instagram-ready slideshow or a set of black & white edits).
I’m based in Las Palmas but I photograph all across Gran Canaria — beaches, dunes, mountains, gardens, city streets and quiet villages. For private sessions, my current pricing is a flat rate for any location on the island — there are no extra travel fees.
I work in English, Russian and Swedish, and I also speak a bit of Spanish. You’re welcome to contact me in any of these languages.
To book, you fill out the form (or message me on WhatsApp), and I confirm your date and location. You make a payment for the session on a day of the photoshoot. I’ll send you all the details by email or WhatsApp so everything is clear.
