My Last Session Before the End of 2025 — Sunset Family Photoshoot in Tufia, Gran Canaria

My last session before the end of 2025 was in Tufia — and it was such a good one to finish the year with.

Two families who are friends decided to do the photoshoot together. Both had a little kid (both 4 years old), which honestly made it more fun because the kids were instantly entertained by each other.
We shot at sunset, and Tufia is just… ridiculously scenic. The light there during sunset is beautiful — soft, warm, and flattering without trying too hard.

One thing though: it can be very windy. And yes, that’s something to be aware of. But personally, I love wind in photos. It moves hair, clothes, everything. It makes the photos feel more alive and natural — less like people are “posing” and more like they’re actually there.
We didn’t do anything complicated. We just let the kids be kids. We were throwing stones into the water, playing with sand, walking around, laughing, running a bit — all the usual chaos that somehow turns into the best photos.

For “props” we kept it simple: pretzels and a couple of the kids’ favorite toys. That was enough to keep them happy (and full 😄), and once kids are happy, everything else gets easier.
That’s basically the session: sunset light, wind, two families, sandy hands, and a lot of fun. Perfect ending to 2025!
